The important one: projections are estimates

My Farm Model produces scenario models built on public datasets and your own assumptions. They are decision support, not financial advice, and no yield or dollar figure is guaranteed. For major financial commitments, talk to your accountant, banker or advisor.

Privacy

What we collect

Your account details (name, email), the farm data you enter (boundaries, assumptions, scenarios), and basic usage information that helps us make the product better.

Your farm data is yours

We never sell your data, and we never share your farm's boundaries, assumptions or scenarios with anyone unless you ask us to — for example, sharing a scenario with your banker. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.

How we use it

To run your projections, keep your account working, improve the model, and occasionally email you about things that matter. No spam, ever. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve modeling accuracy.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and access-controlled. The public datasets we use (CSIRO soil, SILO climate) contain no personal information.

Terms of use

Early access

My Farm Model is free while we're in early access. Features may change, and occasionally things may break — we'll be upfront when they do. Early-access farmers keep founder pricing when paid plans arrive.

Your part

Keep your account details accurate and your password to yourself, and use the service for its intended purpose — planning your own farm or, with their consent, your clients' farms.

Our part

We take reasonable care to keep the service available, the data current, and the model honest. The service is provided as-is during early access, without warranties, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email you before they take effect.
